Posted by u/Practical_Magic- It's the little things... Bully neighbor I lived in the upstairs unit of a 2-unit condo (converted house) nearly 20 years ago. Had a great neighbor below me, but then she moved out and a horrible man moved in. The first thing he did was leave a note that the garbage can I had just moved back from the street was his, and claimed that he had moved it. I ignored it, because, but his anger increased with another note saying I'd better not use "his" garbage can and to mov

I couldn't miss it. I did what he wanted because I was pretty unnerved by that point, and thought it would end the bizarre exchange. No such luck. It happened again, but then he was yelling in my face instead of leaving notes. He was a big guy and scared me enough to give in. After that I went to stay with my bf for a while. Before I left, I decided on some petty revenge.I set my alarm for 4am, turned the volume all the way up, and set it on the floor of my bedroom. It was an old radio alarm tha

neighbor. I wasn't even sure if his bedroom was below mine. Tbh, I figured it probably wasn't going to work and forgot about it for a few months until my bf and I decided to make the move permanent. I went over there to start packing and found his outraged voice messages. He didn't know my phone number so he had to contact the owner. There were no messages a few weeks prior, so it took that long for him to get my number. He must've pounded on my door many, many times before the owner finally gav

She Who LovesToDraw 21 hr. ago Landlord had no business giving your phone number to a total stranger. 1.0k Reply Share Practical_Magic- OP 21 hr. ago My thoughts, too, but he probably hounded her so much that she gave in like I did. For that I can't blame her. And she was an older woman, which ~20 years later I can now also appreciate. Reply Share 425

Eternal_Koevoet · 20 hr. ago When I was in the Army, my wife and I lived off base. I had a neighbor who always used my garbage can to dump his trash rather than pay for the service. It got so bad that we didn't have enough room for out trash. My wife went to speak to him and the police were called. FYI, don't off a Puerto Rican woman as he found out. So, now he wants to file a restraining order, Yada Yada Yada. The police spoke to him and he quieted down. And yet, he starting adding MORE garbage

was in a unit that didn't normally wear uniforms and had just come from field training. Among some of our field gear was CS powder; Tear Gas. I had had enough, so when I went to the base at 0400 in the morning with my trash (It was halfway due to being dumped yesterday). Along the top, I sprinkled some CS powder. The powder works when stirred up. When I got home, he still hadn't hit my can. At midnight, I awoke to a cussing and screaming neighbor outside. The next day, the police were called and

how that could have happened and he actually told them I poisoned him. I took them to my can and opened the top. I explained to the officers that I was exposed to tear gas during training. I was asked which unit and I told the officers that I was assigned to a Special Operations unit on the base. My neighbor didn't even know I was in the Army let alone the unit. The officers were cool about it and we never had another problem with him again. He moved out 3 months later 276 Reply Share Rhinomeat

Bigstachedad 20 hr. ago I have encountered bad acting neighbors a few times in my life. It must be horrible to be so messed up that you feel the need to bully a neighbor over something as unimportant as a garbage can. 30 Reply Share
